The incumbent should manage a sales team covering a state or two.
Is responsible for designing and implementing the coverage plan.
Is expected to execute promotion activities & also responsible for launch of new products.
Is also responsible for motivating and training the sales team.
Should involve in planning short term and long term strategy for the area.
MBA graduate with 10-12 years of experience in the sales function-FMCG sector.
Should have experience in managing general trade/hawker channel and ability to lead a team.
Sound knowledge about the local market is essential.
For hawker trade candidate should independently set up a hawker channel.

The incumbent conceives a marketing plan which aims at improving brand health parameters like awareness/imageries/quality perception etc.
The incumbent is responsible for execution of the plan which includes developing consumer insights/communication/tackling competitive initiatives/ provide direction to cross functional team to work on product/ packaging/ manufacturing front and also to liase with trade marketing team for successful implementation of trade initiatives which will be in tandem with brand initiatives.
The incumbent also frequently coordinates with various external partners like research/media/ promotional/ advertising agencies.
The incumbent regularly monitors the target vs. actual performance of the brand and implements corrective actions.
The incumbent needs to work with the cross functional team to implement all New/Existing Product Development initiatives so as to ensure that the execution of the developmental work in the market place is as per the formulated strategy.
The incumbent also takes help of Market Research team in executing various consumer research which is critical for a Brand managers work.
MBA graduate from a reputed B –School with 3-5 years of experience in FMCG Sector.
The incumbent should have core marketing understanding.
Should have handled brand independently for 2 years with top-line and bottom line responsibility.
An expertise on having created something fresh and that haven seen the market would be an additional qualification.
Should be creative and avid learner with an urge to explore new things.
