The facility comprises laboratories situated within the BLiSc campus. It provides services and training to a range of users. This position involves management and coordination of operations of the mass spectrometry facility. The head of the facility is expected to lead a team of staff whose work includes the maintenance of a facility with several state-of-the-art mass spectrometers and associated equipment. The role requires providing technical input into user projects, managing staff and work flow as well as the development and implementation of research grade experimental techniques using mass spectrometry. Training programs and outreach activities are encouraged.
