Fellowships for Pharma and Science candidates under ANRF, DBT funded project at University of Hyderabad

The University of Hyderabad is a public central research university located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Established in 1974, this mostly residential campus has more than 5,000 students and 400 faculty, from several disciplines. UoH has a 930-hectare campus.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) on a plain paper or in the prescribed format for research project for a temporary period, purely on a contractual basis as per the following details.

Project Associate I(b) in a time-bound ANRF research project
Number of Positions : 1
Project Title : Super-enhancer transcribed lncRNAs (SE-lncRNA) involved in glioblastoma tumorigenesis
Fellowship / Honorarium / Stipend : ₹30,000 + 30% HRA per month
Tenure of the Post : 3 years
Essential Qualifications : Four years’ Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / B.Pharm / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or from a recognized University or equivalent
Experience : 0–2 years
Age Limit : < 35 years

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time-bound DBT-funded
Number of positions : 1
Project Title : RNA modification in regulating IncRNA-microproteins their potential applications in cancer therapy
Fellowship/Honorarium/Stipend : Rs. 37,000 + 27% HRA per month
Tenure of the Post : 3 years
Essential Qualifications : Computational skills such as programming, linux data analytics, machine learning
Experience : 0-2 years
Age Limit : < 28 years for General/EWS candidates, with age relaxations of up to 5 years for reserved and female categories.

(1) Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and they have no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the University.
(2) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test / skill test or at the time of joining.
(3) Self-Attested copies of all certificates in support of the information furnished in the application should be enclosed.
(4) Last date for receipt of filled-in applications is 17th August 2026 . The University of Hyderabad will not be responsible for any postal delay.
(5) Only the candidates selected for an interview will be intimated through email.
(6) Applicants who are waiting for their provisional degree certificate may also apply. However, at the time of the interview, they must show the proof of completion of their degree by showing their provisional/degree certificate.
(7) Age relaxation is applicable to the candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC as per the Government guidelines/rules. Candidates need to enclose the valid certificates along with their applications. The OBC certificate should be in the format as mentioned on the University of Hyderabad’s website
