This is a non-supervisory position in the Compendial Development Laboratory within Global Laboratory Operations. Target-based design, synthesis and pre-clinical development of novel glial EAAT2 activators as potential candidates for Alzheimers disease. First class Post Graduate Pharmacy degree in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Medicinal Chemistry Candidates qualified with GPAT, NET will be given preference.

Good knowledge of triple quodrupole mass spectrometer platforms and demonstrated operational independence on these platforms. Experience in bioanalysis of small molecules is must to have and knowledge about other modalities such as biomarkers, cyclic peptides is preferred.

Knowledge of organic reactions, mechanisms, and theoretical concepts in spectroscopy. Hands-on experience in gram-scale organic synthesis, protection-deprotection methodologies, purification through column chromatography, interpretation of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy NMR, both 1D and 2D, and mass spectrometry.
