The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow to work under ANRF (ANRF/ECRG/2024/005023/LS) sponsored project titled “Exploring the potential of targeting hypoxia induced mitophagy regulatory functions of TRIM proteins to develop novel anticancer treatment strategies” under the supervision of Dr. Bhaskar Saha, Assistant Professor, Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Eligibility :
M.Sc. in Molecular biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or related disciplines.
• Prior experience in cell and molecular biology techniques such as cell culture, western blotting, microscopy, cloning, flow cytometry, mice handling, will be an added advantage.
• Candidate with UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/ DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
• We invite applications from candidates who are passionate, curious, and highly motivated to join Saha Lab—a friendly, supportive and stimulating group exploring the interplay between autophagy and cancer.
Remuneration : First year Rs. 37,000 plus 10% HRA per month and second year Rs. 42,000 plus 10% HRA.
Age limit : 35 years
Duration of the project : 2 Years
