Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is a multidisciplinary research institute situated in Jakkur, a locality north of Bangalore, India. Applications are invited for temporary position of Research Associate to work under the guidance of Prof. Bivas Saha, CPMU & ICMS Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru, 560064
Post : Research Associate (One Post)
Remuneration : Rs.47,000/-, Rs.49,000/- and Rs.54,000/- plus 24% HRA). Remuneration will be fixed based on experience
Essential Qualification : Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree OR three years of research, teaching, design and development after MVSc/M.Pharm/M.E/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
Desirable Qualification : The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in first-principles density-functional theory (DFT) calculations, including electronic-structure analysis, phonon and magnetization calculations, and experience with advanced workflows such as EPW and related computational techniques.
