Having M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S. or MBBS/ BDS/ M.VSc./ M.Sc./ M.Pharma/ M.Tech or equivalent with Ph.D. in the topic related to health research. 

Masters from a recognized University in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences OR Pharm-D degree recognized by UGC / PCI.

Ph.D / MD/MS / MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research teaching and design and development experience after M/Sc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation (SCI) Journal.

The applicant should hold a PhD degree in Science or Engineering or MD/MS/MDS degree. The applicant should have at least four years of service remaining before superannuation as of the date of submission of the proposal.
