The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world. The Primary objective of Tata Trusts is to impact the quality of life of the community. Tata Trusts have been working on a range of thematic areas cutting across diverse developmental issues like Health, Education, Media & Arts, Natural Resources & Livelihoods and Urban Poverty

The Govt. of India through Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has proposed to setup an “Indian TB Research Consortium” to advance technology and product development by harnessing interdisciplinary expertise and regional complementary strengths and focus on building and strengthening scientific capabilities and generating a better understanding to aid in accelerating the development of new diagnostics, new & improved vaccines and Immunotherapies, drugs for TB.

Applications are invited for one post of Research Assistant, to be filled up on purely temporary basis at ICMR-National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi under the task-force project entitled "Second Phase of Biomedical Informatics Centres of ICMR." The aim of this task-force is to nucleate and support informatics in medical research through organizing training programs, providing data management and analysis services to medical researchers and conduct research on understanding genetic causes of complex diseases through Association Studies and identifying potential diagnostic, drug and vaccine candidates using high throughput technologies. The position at present is tenable up to 31/3/2018.

The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) was established by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technolgy, Government of India, in November 1997 as a fully funded autonomous research institute in the area of neuroscience and brain. The Centre was registered as an Society in June 1999 under the Registration of Societies Act.
The mandate of NBRC is pursuing basic research to understand brain function in health and disease, generating trained human resource with capability to carry out inter-disciplinary research in neuroscience, promoting neuroscience in India through networking among institutions across the country.
