The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Applications are invited on plain paper for the contractual post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST funded project entitled DRUG DEVELOPMENT UNIT...........A CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM under Prof. Bikash Medhi, Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER. Chandigarh-160012. The posts are purely on contract basis.
Qualification : First Class Masters Degree in Pharmacology / Life-Sciences with any specializations from a recognized university (as per DST rules).
Desirable : Preference will be given to ICMR/GATE/NET qualified candidate, relevant experience in the field along with hands on skills in any one technique such as in silico, cell culture, qRT-PCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and small animal handling is desirable.
Age : As per GOI rules .
Pay Scale : Rs.31,000/- fixed per month plus HRA (16%)
