Indian Institute of Technology invites M.Pharm/M.Sc for the post of Research Associate

Applications are invited for the position of “Research Associate” on a research project funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The project is to be completed at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. The details of the project and the aforementioned position are as follows:

Post: Research Associate - 01

Project Title: “Enhancing Shelf Life of Liquid Foods by Ultrasound Assisted High Pressure Carbon Dioxide Treatment”

Essential Qualification:  Possessing Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology / Pharmacy / Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering/Biological Sciences OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design & development experience after MPharm or ME/MTech in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology/Pharmacy/Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/Biological Sciences.

Desirable: good communication skills, experience of bacterial cell culture work, and experience of using MATLAB

 

Age limit: maximum 35 years

Emoluments : Consolidated Rs. 36,000 to 40,000 per month + HRA and medical benefits as per the Institute norms.

Terms: One year at a time, extendable for a year at the end of every year upon satisfactory performance, total duration of three years only.

Selected candidates will be called for interview at IIT-Gandhinagar campus. No TA/DA will be paid for this purpose.
