Applications are invited up to 08.05.2017 for the following posts to be filled purely on temporary basis under “Screening and early detection of cervical, breast and oral cancer: A pilot project” Project

Scientist C (Medical) - 01 post
Place of posting : NICPR, Noida
Essential qualification : Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience OR Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two years experience OR MBBS degree with 4 years experience in medical subjects after MBBS degree
Desirable qualification : 3 years experience in screening and early detection of cancer
Age limit : Not exceeding 40 years.Age relaxation as per GOI rules
Emoluments : Consolidated salary Rs 64,000 + NPA+HRA as applicable
Nature of Duties:
* To coordinate the ANMs,ASHAs, Medical officers’ training meetings on cancer screening at Cachar
* Compiling the results at regular intervals and report writing
* Monitoring and supervision of the project
Duration of the project : 3 years
Duration of contract : One Year (renewable based on performance)

Scientist B (Non-Medical) - 01 post
Place of posting : NICPR, Noida
Essential qualification : 1st class Master’s degree in Life Science from a recognized University with 2 years experience in related field. Or 2nd class Master’s Degree with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable qualification : 3 years experience in computer applications and statistical analysis
Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years.Age relaxation as per GOI rules
Emoluments : Consolidated salary @ Rs 48,000 + HRA as applicable
Nature of Duties:
*To ensure that the data reaches the central coordinating unit regularly
* Development of data analysis plan
* Data management and analysis
* Coordinate the disbursement of budget to the centres
Duration of the project : 3 years
Duration of contract : One Year (renewable based on performance)
