Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), is the first Pharmacy University of India established by an Act7 of 2008 of State Legislature of Delhi as a State University vide Notification No.F. 2(412)/2008/SB/Vol. II/71 dated 21.01.2010 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 through its own departments and constituent colleges in regular mode vide notification No. F.9-19/2015/(CPP-I/PU) dated 22nd September 2015.

The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission. The university caters to the tribals long cherished dream of higher education.

IISER-K today has a vibrant campus with strong faculty members of repute and supportive non-teaching staff members. NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.
