Essential Qualification : M.Sc. with PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Science Instrumentation studies related to tobacco products
Desirable Experience : 3 years of research experience in natural products synthesis, analysis of
organic compounds/Biochemical/Pharmaceutical Sciences
Emoluments / Salary : Rs. 65,000/- (consolidated)
Maximum Age Limit : 45 years
Job Description : Plan and execute analytical work or any other work assigned by the Officer In-charge

Essential Qualification : MSc. Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry or M. Pharma five years of research experience on tobacco products.
Desirable Experience : 3 years of research experience in natural products synthesis, analysis of organic compounds/Biochemical/Pharmaceutical Sciences
Emoluments / Salary : Rs.60,000/- (consolidated)
Maximum Age Limit : 45 years

Work Location : National Tobacco Testing Laboratory, NIMHANS, Bengaluru
Duration of Post : Initial Appointment will be made for a period of 12 months
Technical Officer (Grade II)
No. of post : 2(Two)
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Chemistry/Analytical Science/Biochemistry/ Bio Technology or M. Pharma
Desirable Experience : 5 years post-degree research experience on handling analytical equipment/synthetic reagents
Emoluments / Salary : Rs. 58,000/- (consolidated)
Maximum Age Limit : 45 years

Duration of Post : Initial Appointment will be made for a period of 12 months
Eligible candidates who fulfil the above criteria may apply through the link/email provided in the notification. Note
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email and will receive a call letter for the written test/interview.
• Candidates are required to report/join 30 minutes before the scheduled time for the interview/written test, whether conducted online or offline.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview.
The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% in the written examination (Whenever written examination is indicated) to qualify for the skill test/interview. For Direct Interview the candidate should score at least 50% Marks in the interview.
• The Institute reserves the right to select a suitable candidate. Possession of the prescribed essential qualifications alone does not guarantee selection.
• No hostel accommodation will be provided for project staff.
