Applications are invited for the positions of a Project Associate in a SERB funded research grant on precious metal recycling
Post : Project Associate
Objectives of the projects : The purpose of this project is to perform the preparation of sustainable functional materials and their utilization for precious metal recovery from waste.
Eligibility criteria : Minimum 70% marks or 7 CGPA in M.Sc. chemistry/material science/polymer chemistry
Duration : The project duration is for 2 yrs, can be converted into Ph.D. with an additional one year of the internal fund subjected to satisfactory performance.
Skills required
• The candidate should hold strong chemistry knowledge
• Work experience on polymer synthesis or membrane fabrication would be given preference
• Skills in organic synthesis or materials synthesis would be advantageous
Duration : 2 yrs but it will be converted into a Ph.D. with an additional one year of the internal fund.
Fellowship : Rs. 27000 + HRA
