The essay contest is organized with an objective to harness the energy, imagination and creativity of the budding pharmacy professionals in developing an in depth understanding of the pharmaceutical field and exploring new career avenues in the field of pharmaceutical management.

The Institute of Stem Cell Sciences and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), is a premier research centre carrying out frontier research in the field stem cell biology. inStem has initiated a collaborative program of research with the National Centre for Biological Sciences and the National Institute for Mental Health and Neurosciences. National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a "Deficiency Disease Enquiry" and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
