The Regional Cancer Centre at Thiruvananthapuram is a cancer care hospital and research centre. RCC was established in 1981 by the government of Kerala and the government of India. It is located in the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College campus. Regional Cancer Centres (RCCs) are cancer care hospitals and research institutes operating in India under the joint control and funding of the Government of India and the respective state governments.

NIPER-Guwahati is the fifth Institute of National Importance on Pharmaceutical Education under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. The NIPER-Guwahati started functioning from the month of September, 2008. The Institute is presently housed at the NIPS, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam (The institute will shift to its permanent campus at Changsari, Kamrup, Assam) with an excellent facility for advanced Education and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Presently the Institute is offering M.S (Pharm.) and Ph. D. Columbia Institute of Pharmacy, which is synonymous to ultimate in Pharmacy education in the state of Chhattisgarh. Columbia Institute of Pharmacy, Raipur is run & managed by Janpragati Education Society (JPES), Raipur.  The society was founded in the year 2003 under the chairmanship of Mr. Kishore Jadwani & Secretary, Mr. Harjeet Singh Hura. There was vision to become one of the best Institutes that should be recognized far and wide for excellence in teaching, research and public service. Chairman and secretary of the society, both are graduates in Pharmacy from Sagar University, Madhya Pradesh.

Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) is the apex body pertaining to research in Siddha system of Medicine. CCRS is working towards the scientific validation of Siddha System of Medicine through clinical research, drug research, medicinal plants research, fundamental research, literary research and documentation.  CCRS is carrying out its research activities and health care services mainly through 8 peripheral Institutes/Units – 3 located in Tamil Nadu, one each in Puducherry, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and New Delhi. CCRS is currently carrying out 33 Intra-mural Research (IMR) Projects funded by Ministry of AYUSH.

Regional Ayurveda Institute for Fundamental Research, Kothrud, Pune-411038, a peripheral research institute working under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences Ministry of AYUSH.
