The word “forensic” means “pertaining to the law”; forensic science resolves legal issues by applying scientific principles to them. Forensic Analysis is the application of Analysis to law enforcement or the failure of products or processes. It is unique among chemical sciences in that its research, practice, and presentation must meet the needs of both the scientific and the legal communities.Forensic Analysis applied the basic theory and mythology of advanced analytical chemistry to rationalize various materials of crimes and provide evidence to detection.Forensic Analysis is carried out by the two types of techniques namely Organic Analytical Technique &In- Organic Analytical Technique. And this review article covers regarding how Analytical techniques are useful in forensic analysis to resolve major problems of common man.

The Clinical Trials Registry - India (CTRI) is an online system for registration of all clinical trials being conducted in the country. This web based system (ctri.nic.in) has its headquarters at the National Institute of Medical Statistics (NIMS), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It serves as a platform for registering all clinical trials on health products including drugs, devices, vaccines, herbal drugs etc. The registration of trials in CTRI is free of cost and crucial information of these registered clinical trials is freely searchable from the CTRI site. The CTRI currently registers interventional trials as well as BA/BE and observational studies. While the mandate is to register trials prospectively, the CTRI also registers ongoing and completed trials. The primary objective of the registry is to enhance transparency, accountability and accessibility of clinical trials and their results. However, there are several other benefits as well.

ABSTRACT: Design and development of herbal nanoparticles has become a frontier research in the nanoformulation arena. Curcumin, a hydrophobic polyphenol (diferuloyl methane) is a potent phytomolecule obtained from turmeric (Curcuma longa, Family-Zingiberaceae) has a wide range of biological activities in chronic diseases and has wide therapeutic efficacy. But the clinical application of curcumin was limited due to its poor water solubility, rapid metabolism and rapid elimination which ultimately results in poor bioavailability upon oral administration. Therefore introduction of nanotechnology provides a solution towards increased bioavailability of curcumin. In this review, an overview of curcumin nanoparticles is discussed.

Govt. of Himachal Pradesh took up initiative in early seventies to set up a CSIR lab to make prudential use of the natural resources of the region. After several levels of discussions a formal request was made by then Chief Minister of HP to Vice President, CSIR in 1982 for initiating the matter, and giving final shape to the proposal. The dream of HP government finally came true in 1983 when the foundation stone of this National lab was laid as CSIR Complex Palampur by Prof. Nurul Hasan, former Vice President of CSIR, with then Chief Minister of HP chairing the function.
