Job Purpose
To drive end-to-end execution of new product launches for assigned geographies, ensuring timely delivery, commercial success, and alignment with revenue targets. The role requires close coordination with cross-functional teams (CFTs), customers, and business partners to achieve operational excellence in launch execution and post-launch performance tracking
Job Description
Key Accountabilities (1/6)
Deliver revenue targets for new launches
• Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets from new product launches for assigned geographies.
• Collaborate with business planning teams to align forecasts with revenue goals
Key Accountabilities (2/6)
Cross-functional coordination for launch success
• Work closely with Launch Project Management, SCM Launch Team, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Material Planning, and Capacity Planning teams.
• Ensure seamless execution of pre-launch and post-launch activities to achieve commercial success
Key Accountabilities (3/6)
Stakeholder collaboration
Collaborate with customers, business partners, and internal teams for purchase orders (POs), invoicing, and other documentation management
Key Accountabilities (4/6)
New launch performance tracking
• Track business forecasts and actual revenues for new launches monthly.
• Perform monthly analysis of New Launch On-Time Delivery Performance for the assigned regions
Key Accountabilities (5/6)
Reporting and analytics
• Prepare and update trackers and slides for senior management presentations on launch performance
• Analyze key metrics related to new launches and suggest process improvements
Key Accountabilities (6/6)
Major Challenges
Ensuring alignment and coordination across multiple cross-functional teams and geographies.
Mitigating risks of delays in supply and demand planning, material readiness, and capacity allocation.
Managing documentation and compliance with internal and external stakeholders
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in science/pharmacy/biotechnology (preferred).
MBA or Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (preferred)
3–6 years of experience in roles such as Launch Excellence, Business Planning, Demand/Supply Planning, Material Planning, Capacity Planning, or Commercial Excellence in the pharmaceutical industry
