The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is a tertiary care, super-specialty hospital located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, India. It was established in 2009 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as an autonomous institute under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The ILBS is a mono-superspeciality hospital, which means that it provides primarily liver and biliary care. This focus on a single organ system allows the institute to achieve a high degree of expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of liver and biliary diseases.

Job description :
1. Pre-clinical investigations and molecular studies: Handling of small laboratory animals (mice and rats), in vivo toxicity and efficacy analysis, and molecular investigation of biological samples.
2. Proficiency in primary cell isolation & Invitro mammalian cell culture studies and Flow Cytometry-based analysis
3. Experience in Gut-Barrier dysfunction assays
4. Gene-Expression analysis, Protein expression analysis, ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry
5. Data compilation, analysis, and writing of project report and manuscripts.

Eligibility : Post Graduate in Pharmacology (M.Pharm / M.S Pharm), Post Graduate (M.Sc.) in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Physiology, Biochemistry & Biotechnology, or any other relevant discipline from a recognized institution
Desirable : NET / GATE qualification or any national eligibility test will be preferred.

Age Limit : 35 years

Remuneration : Rs 28,000 + 30% HRA

2. The appointment under the project shall be on a “contract basis” for the period of 12 months initially and will be extended based on performance
