National Institute of Technology Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 31 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country. Essential qualification : B.E./ B.Tech/ or equivalent degree (first class) in Biotechnology/Biotech. Engineering/ Bioengineering/Genetic Engineering/Biological Sciences and Bioengineering / Life Science (with good academic record) - Completed or Candidate should be in 3rd or final year, with CGPI – first class if ongoing. OR M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology/Life Sciences (with good academic record) - Ongoing or completed
Age limit : 25 years
Age relaxation - Desired qualifications/skills Prior basic knowledge/hands-on experience of molecular biology and cell biology techniques like PCR, molecular cloning, working with yeast cells
Emoluments : Rs. 5,000.00/- pm
HRA / Accommodation : Accommodation will not be provided by the institute. The selected candidate will have to make his/her own arrangements outside the Institute for his/her stay and boarding as well, during the internship period.
