The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Panjab University is a premier institution of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in the country. The institute has covered a long and glorious journey of 76 years starting from Lahore in 1944 and finally settling to the present campus in Chandigarh at the foothills of Himachal. In its travelogue, the institute crossed multiple milestones and continue to head ahead towards the well-defined goals. The elevation of the status from department to the level of an institute i.e. University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1994, and hosting of Indian Pharmaceutical Congress in the same year, two presidential honors of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congresses to its faculty members, a special recognition by the UGC by granting SAP in 1993 and COSIST in 1981 establishment of ICMR Advanced Centre for standardization of Drugs of Indian System of Medicine are some of the major hallmarks on the path treaded so far.

Advertisement for one position of Scientific Entrepreneur (purely temporary basis) under Bio Incubator Cluster Innovation Centre in Biotechnology (CIC-B) at Panjab University, Chandigarh funded by incubate company, BIO-AGE Equipment and services.
Who can apply?
Applicants who have completed their 5 years of education after 10+2 (B. Tech., B.E., B.Pharm , B.Sc. + 2year of education as post graduate (M.Sc.) in fields of Life Sciences like Microbiology Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Microbial Biotechnology etc. are eligible. Preference will be given to the applicants with industrial experience.

It is for the applicants to note that:
1. All the project work has to be performed at the Cluster Innovation Centre in Biotechnology Panjab University, Chandigarh.
2. Salary: 15,000 INR per month
3. The screening and selection will be on the basis of the curriculum vitae submitted by the candidate to the stated email address only. No other modes of submission shall be valid.
4. Selection criterion will be decided by the honorable committee and the same remain unquestionable.
5. The duration of the post shall be co-terminus with the project under execution between CIC-B and Bio-Age Equipment and Services.
