Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI) is a unique postgraduate medical institution devoted to research, teaching and patient care in the field of chest diseases. It is a University of Delhi maintained institution and is funded entirely by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The Institute is ideally located in the heart of the main campus of the University of Delhi, providing the requisite academic environment.

A Walk-in-Interview for the posts of (a) Senior Research Fellow (SRF); (b) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the CCRUM-AYUSH Project entitled “Experimental studies on the immunomodulatory and hepatoprotective effects of Dawa-Ul-Kurkum, a polyherbal Unani preparation, and its cellular and molecular mechanisms in rats” (P.I. – Prof. Kavita Gulati) will be held on 16th October, 2017 at the Director’s Office, 3rd Floor MS Bldg., Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, Delhi-110 007.

Senior Research Fellow (One)
Eligibility: M.Pharm (Pharmacology) or M.Sc. (Pharmacology) with two years research experience
Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- plus HRA as per rules, per month.
Interview Date & Time: 16 Oct, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.

 

Junior Research Fellow (One)
Eligibility: M. Pharm (Pharmacology)/M.Sc. (Pharmacology)
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA as per rules, per month.
Interview Date & Time: 16 Oct, 2017 at 12:00 Noon.

Interested candidates may appear for the interview on the specified date and time with bio-data and original documents/testimonials. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
