The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.

Eligibility : M.Sc. (Life Sciences) from a recognized University / Institute with 2 years of research experience
National Eligibility Tests CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or any National level examinations (DBT/ICMR/UGC)
OR
MBBS/BDS/M.Pharma or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in primary cell culture, animal handling, flow cytometry, molecular techniques, and mass spectrometry.
Fellowship : As per ICMR guidelines (Rs. 35,000 +HRA)
