The ICGEB is an international, nonprofit research organization. Established as a special project of UNIDO, it became fully autonomous in 1994 and now counts over 60 Member States. The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology provides a scientific and educational environment of the highest standard and conducts innovative research in life sciences for the benefit of developing countries.

Applications are invited for a Research Assistant in the multi-centric research project under the supervision of Prof. V.S. Chauhan, ICGEB, New Delhi.

Educational Qualification : Essential : M.Sc./M.Tech (Preferably in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences). The initial appointment will be for 6 months, which will be extendable on satisfactory work performance.

Desirable : Candidates with prior research experience in Image classification / Deep Learning / Machine Learning / computer programming will be preferred.
