Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate (RA) in a Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project, “Development of an in vitro system for HEV propagation to study polyprotein processing and experimental infection in murine model” under the Principal Investigator (PI), Professor Deepak Sehgal Department of Life Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar University, and Co-PI, Professor Madhu Khanna, Vallabbhai Patel Chest Institute.
Essential qualification
Ph.D. / MD / MS / MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVS. / M.Pharm. / ME / M.Tech. with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCl) journal.
Desirable Candidate should have experience in Cell culture, Biochemistry and Animal studies.
Fellowship Rs 36,000/- per month plus 10% HRA, as per rules.
Duration of Project 36 months (Temporary)
Project Description The project goal is to study the Biochemistry of enzymes, Establish HEV culture system and in vivo studies.
This will involve techniques in Biochemistry, cell culture and animal studies. Selected candidate will be working at both Shiv Nadar University and Vallabbhai Patel Chest Institute as required.
