BE, B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech. in Biotechnology / Life sciences / Bioinformatics, M.Pharm / M.V.Sc. or equivalent with First Division. The candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Applicants must be NET or GATE qualified and hold an M.Sc. degree in Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Applied Microbiology / Plant Science / Life Science, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Biotechnology or allied Life Science subjects with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) are eligible to apply.

M. Pharm/ MS Pharm/ MSc or Equivalent with specialization in Natural Products/ Pharmacognosy/ Chemistry or equivalent with specialization in Pharmacy/ Life sciences/ Chemical Sciences with hands on experience in fungal culture. NIPER-Ahmedabad

MSc (Bioinformatics / Biophysics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology) or Masters degree in any other stream of Biological / Physical /Computational Sciences, NII Pune

MSc. in Virology / Microbiology / Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institution, with two or more years of research experience. 

1st Class PG degree (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences) including Integrating PG. OR 2nd Class PG degree (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences) including integrated PG and Ph.D. degree. CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur
