Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, invites applications from Indian Nationals to join the following position sanctioned under DBT-funded project.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Project Title : “"Effects of different cancer associated fibroblasts (CAFs) subpopulations on pancreatic tumor immunomodulation." BT/PR52639/MED/30/2543/2024.” funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
Project Investigator : Dr. Shantibhusan Senapati
Number of vacancies : One
Emolument : Rs.37,000/- + @18% HRA per month
Eligibility & Selection : Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Biotechnology or allied Life Science subjects with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) are eligible to apply. Candidates must have qualified for a national-level exam, such as NET/GATE/GPAT/BET. Candidates with knowledge in Cancer biology and molecular biology and hands-on experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques and having experience in handling mice will be preferred.
Age Limit : The candidate should be below 28 years in age as on 23.09.2026. An age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/women/PH candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be granted (as per Govt. of India rules).
