ABSTRACT-
A mobile phase consisting of Acetonitrile and water in the ratio of 60:40 gave a well resolved and sharp peak for Zinc-Pyrithione with a retention time of 11.61 mins. The flow rate was 1 ml/min and effluent was monitored at 322 nm. Zobrax C18 column, run time of 30 min and ambient temperatures were found to be optimum for the analysis. System suitability was performed by injecting five replicate injections of working standard solution. The System suitability results obey all the parameters and found within the acceptable range. The precision study was found to be less than 1 (% RSD). So, it indicates the method is precise. The recovery study was found to be 98 to 102 % and % RSD was found to be less than % 1. So, the method is more accurate, precise, and sensitive.

ABSTRACT
Ixora parviflora
an Indian plant, has long been medicinally used in traditional systems of medicine. The plant has been found to possess varied number of pharmacological activities. This article gives an account of updated information on its phytochemical and pharmacological properties. The review reveals that wide numbers of phytochemical constituents have been isolated from the plant which possesses activities like anaemia, whooping cough, antiviral, hypotensive and spasmolytic. These reports are very hopeful and indicate that the plant should be studied more widely for its therapeutic effects.

ABSTRACT:
Connective tissue disease include the following state: rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, polyarteritis nodosa, gout, rheumatic fever and osteoarthritis, with the most  common forms of which are rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis and gout. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, nonsuppurative inflammatory disease  of unknown cause affecting primarily peripheral synovial joint. the onset  is usually insidious, with  immunological reaction playing a major role. Common  medications for arthritis include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs decrease pain, inflammation, and fever by blocking cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes. Understanding of the pharmacology of NSAIDs continues to evolve, but it is now thought that most NSAIDs block three different COX isoenzymes, known as COX-1, COX-2, and COX-3. COX-1 protects the lining of the stomach from acid. COX-2 is found in joint and muscle, and mediates effects on pain and inflammation. By blocking COX-2, NSAIDs reduce pain compared to placebo in patients with arthritis, low back pain, minor injuries, and soft tissue rheumatism. selective NSAIDs or “COX-2 selective NSAIDs” as drugs in the “coxib” class (celecoxib, rofecoxib, valdecoxib, etoricoxib, lumiracoxib). “partially selective NSAIDs” as other drugs shown to have partial in vitro COX-2 selectivity (etodolac, nabumetone, meloxicam).

ABSTRACT
Niosomes are a novel drug delivery system that are finding application in drug targeting antineoplastic treatment, leishmaniasis treatment, delivery of peptide drugs, transdermal drug delivery systems, cosmetics, immunological application of peptide drugs, carriers for haemoglobin, sustained release etc. A niosome is a non-ionic surfactant based liposomes. It is formed by cholesterol with the use of other excipients. The various methods used in the formation of niosomes such as ether injection method, sonication, microfluidization, hand shaking method for the different types of niosomes. The goal of this article focuses on the recent advances in niosomal drug delivery, potential advantages over other delivery systems, formulation methods, methods of characterization, limitation of niosomes, comparision of niosomes v/s liposomes, application of niosomes, marketed products of niosomes and the current research in the field of niosomes.

ABSTRACT:
Cancer is the uncontrollable growth of cells.  Exponential growth and doubling times of cell is 2 times or 3 times than normal cell growth, doubling times is varies among various kind of tumour’s:

  • in acute leukemia (2 week)
  • in multiple myeloma (6 to 12 hour)

Tumour detected when the no. of cells reaches approximately 109 to 1010 cells. Cancer vaccines that boost the immune system’s natural ability to protect body against foreign invaders that causes disease. Vaccines are 2 types: prophylactic and therapeutic. Cancer preventive vaccine target infectious agents that cause cancer and prevent cancer in healthy people and therapeutic vaccines treat cancer in cancer suffering patients.

Abstract
Gastric emptying is a complex process and makes in vivo performance of the drug delivery systems uncertain. In order to avoid this variability, efforts have been made to increase the retention time of the drug-delivery systems for more than 12 hours. The Microballoons delivery systems are useful in such application. Microballoonsare gastro-retentive drug delivery systems based on non-effervescent approach. Microballoonsare in strict sense, spherical empty particles without core and ideally having a size less than 200 micrometer. Microballoonsare low-density systems that have sufficient buoyancy to float over gastric contents and remain in stomach for prolonged period. The drug is released slowly at desired rate resulting in increased gastric retention with reduced fluctuations in plasma drug concentration. Microballoons improve patient compliance by decreasing dosing frequency; better therapeutic effect of short half-life drugs can be achieved. These are primarily controlled release drug delivery systems, which gets retained in the stomach for longer periods of time, thus helping in absorption of drug for the intended duration of time. Gastric retentive drug delivery devices can be useful for the spatial and temporal delivery of many drugsbecause of buoyancy.

ABSTRACT:
Synriam™ is new drugs combination in India Market and its Generic name is Arterolane Maleate and Piperaquine Phosphate. It was launched by Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited on 25 April, 2012 and approved in 2011 by Drug Controller General of India. Synriam is a fixed dose combination of two antimalarial active ingredients. Each film coated tablet contains Arterolane maleate 150 mg. and Piperaquine phosphate 750 mg, developed as simplified once-a-day therapy for three days for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated P. falciparum malaria in adult. Arterolane a synthetic trioxalane rapidly kills the malaria parasite in blood, providing fast relief from symptoms of malaria. Piperaquine on the other hand has a longer lasting effect than arterolane and kills the residual parasites, preventing the recurrence of malaria. SYNRIAM has been effective in geographical regions where resistance to chloroquine has been reported. The fever clearance time for SYNRIAM is shorter than that of arthemeter-lumefantrine. This is an added benefit over arthemeter-lumefantrine regimen, which has to be taken with high fat meals twice a day. This food independent dosing will improve patient convenience and compliance. The efficacy of Synriam has been confirmed in comparative study conduct in India, Thailand and Bangladesh.
