Essential Qualifications : University degree in Medical Sciences/ Nursing / Pharmacy or Masters in Public Health/ Health Management/ Health Care Administration/ or similar fields in Public Health Management Masters in Social Science/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Clinical Psychology/Medical Microbiology.
Essential Experience : 3 years experience in Health sector (preferably HIV). Good working knowledge of MS Office

Essential Qualifications : B.Sc in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences
Desirable Qualification : M. Sc in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ OR B. Tech (Biotechnology)
Essential experience : 5 years of experience of working in any diagnostic laboratory for candidates with B.Sc in the above subjects
• 2 years of experience working in any diagnostic laboratory for candidates with M. Sc/ B. Tech in the above-mentioned subjects
• Candidates with experience of working in accredited labs or those labs who have applied for accreditation will be preferred. .

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test and/or viva voce interview. The list of the shortlisted candidates will be published in the Assam State AIDS Control Society’s web site at asacs.assam.gov.in before 10 days of the date of written test and interview. No separate call letters will be issued to the candidates.
• Incomplete/defective/invalid application will be summarily rejected.
• The candidates have to produce all original testimonials i.e.. Age proof Certificate, Educational Qualification and Experience Certificate and Mark Sheets, Computer Proficiency Certificate at the time of viva voce interview for document verification. A set of self-attested photocopies of the application form and other testimonials are also to be submitted to the interview board on the date of appearing in the written test/interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the written test/interview/skill test.
• Applications received either by post or by hand will not be accepted.
• The date and venue of the written test and viva voce interview will be notified later on through local newspapers and Assam State AIDS Control Society web site https://asacs.assam.gov.in
• The earlier advertisement published in Assam Tribune and Amar Asomon 10/05 2023 vide No. ASACS/NACP- V/Estt/Recruitment/2023/1406/10/6648 for recruitment to the post of Deputy Director (BSD), Deputy Director (CST), Deputy Director (LS), Deputy Director (SI), Assistant Director (CST), under Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS) has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.
