The University of Delhi is the premier university of the country and is known for its high  standards in teaching and research and attracts  eminent scholars to  its faculty.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research (ACBR) was established in March 1991 as part of Centenary celebrations of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and its foundation stone was laid by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Sh. Chander Shekhar Ji on 31 st March 1991.The mandate of the Centre is postgraduate education and research in Biomedical Sciences.

Assam University came into existence through Assam (Central) University Act, 1989 (Act. No. XIII). It was  established in 1994,since then  the University is steadily becoming  an excellent centre of learning.

The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Panjab University is a premier institution of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in the country. The institute has covered a long and glorious journey of 76 years starting from Lahore in 1944 and finally settling to the present campus in Chandigarh at the foothills of Himachal.

Alagappa University accredited with 'A' Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is located at Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu is accessible from Madurai and Tiruchirappalli Airports within two hours. Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976  with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences.

The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients. He gave the name "Hamdard" to his venture which means "sympathy for all and sharing of pain".

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal was created in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Its mission is to provide quality science education to UG and PG students. The prime focus is to integrate science education and research with a motive of attracting bright students and world class faculty. The Institute is committed to impart high moral and ethical values and create concern for social and environment awareness.
