NIPER is the fifth Institute to be included in the list of premier Institutes under the Department of  Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. The NIPER started functioning  from the month of September, 2008.  The Institute is presently housed at the NIPS, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam. The  Institute has excellent facilities for advanced Education and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is looking  for Project/Non Teaching Staff with good experience to contribute in building this Institute as one of the best  Centers for Excellence. Presently the Institute is offering M.S (Pharm.) and Ph. D Programmes in five branches  and planning to expand further.

The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) is a growing phenomenon. Located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, RGCB began in 1990 amongst humble surroundings as a small charitable society called the Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology (C-DEST). In 1991, recognizing its potential, the C-DEST was made a “Grant-in-Aid” institute of the Government of Kerala and renamed as Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology (RGC-DEST), becoming the first institute in the country to be named after Sri Rajiv Gandhi, the young illustrious and visionary former Prime Minster of India.

With a coastline of about 3,500 miles, inland sources in Rajasthan and Little Rann of Kutch, and the rock salt mines in Mandi, India have possibilities of attaining a high position in salt production among the salt producing countries of the world. As is known, apart from being an indispensable item of food, salt is an important raw material for the manufacture of several heavy chemicals e.g. soda ash, caustic soda and chlorine. Besides, salt is used in food processing industries, such as fish curing, meat packing, dairy products and fruit and vegetable canning.

The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, has been on the map of higher education for more than three decades. The Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali (INST-Mohali) has been established by the Government of India as a specialized centre of excellence to promote the growth of R&D in, and exploit the application-potential of, Nano Science and Technology in the country. The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is an autonomous Grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. The TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). TMC conducts a Ph.D. program in Life Sciences and is affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (Deemed University). On-going research at TMC includes basic and translational research in Cancer Biology. Specific research topics include study of cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, metastasis, tumor immunology, molecular imaging, carcinogenesis, stem cell biology, biophysics, structural biology, bioinformatics, proteomics, genomics, genetics, epigenetics and pharmacology.

Applications are invited, in the prescribed format, for online examinations and the award of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS [JRF 2019] for Ph.D. in Life Sciences at the Tata Memorial Centre.

The Institute of Life Sciences was conceived in the context of globalization, to foster research competence in India and to bridge the divide between academic research and the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industries. The institute was incorporated as a non-profit entity under Section 25 of the Indian companies act, facilitating operational autonomy. Construction of the ILS building comprising 44 labs and an administrative block and spanning -130,000 sq.ft. in area, began in 2004 and was completed in January 2007. The institute was inaugurated as a public-private partnership research institute on 29th January 2007, a culmination of the efforts and initiative of the Andhra Pradesh state government, Dr. Reddy's laboratories and the University of Hyderabad.

R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Formerly known as R.C. Patel College of Pharmacy established in June 1992 with the aim to enhance the quality education in the field of Pharmacy and empower the quality pharmacist so that they serve the society to develop lifesaving drugs. Right from its establishment the institute has maintained the quality with assurance in terms of Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi (NBA) twice on 2005 and 2009 for the B. Pharm course. Institute also accredited by NAAC, Bangalore for the period of 5 years.
