National Institute of Technology, Warangal (Deemed University) , formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959.  Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 30 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country.  The Institute is well known for its dedicated faculty, staff and the state-of-the art infrastructure conducive to a healthy academic environment.The Institute is constantly striving to achieve higher levels of technical excellence.

Post : Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under DST-SERB Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science (EMEQ) dated 08/03/2019. sponsored Project entitled “Rongalite/Molecular Oxygen: Amild, low cost and green reagent for oxidation of organic substrates under sunlight” bearing the sanction number EEQ/2018/001257. The Project is for the duration of 3 years.

Eligibility : First class in B.Sc. Chemistry and M.Sc. Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/General Chemistry The candidate must have a valid GATE/NET/CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF

Duration : 3 Years

Salary
Rs. 31,000/- per month for first 2 years
Rs. 35,000/- per month for third years

Other Benefits : The selected candidate is eligible to register for PhD degree at NIT, Warangal as per institute rules.
