The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) is an autonomous institution of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, for a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune Campus, Pune. NCCS invites applications for following posts purely on temporary basis on the various extramural projects.

RGCB is to translate research into products and solutions to improve human health through innovation that transforms science and data into actionable medical benefits. RGCB is looking for a dynamic, result-oriented and dedicated Program Leader to provide daily supervision, mentorship and direction to RGCB’s translational biotechnology goals including leading the newly sanctioned DST funded National Facility For Drug Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics (NFDDDT) as well as the Biotechnology Technology & Business Development Incubator (BioNest) jointly managed by RGCB and the Kerala Start up mission. The history of the IIT system dates back to 1946 when a committee was set up by Hon'ble Sir Jogendra Singh, Member of the Viceroy's Executive Council, Department of Education, Health and Agriculture to consider the setting up of Higher Technical Institutions for post war industrial development in India. National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology (NRCPB) is a premiere research institution of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The institute was founded in 1985 as the ‘Biotechnology Centre’ of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) for molecular biology and biotechnology research in crop plants. The prescience of the role of biotechnology in agriculture led to a bigger responsibility for this centre and it was elevated as National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology in the year 1993.
