Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ Company of Govt. of India, invites Online Application from eligible candidates for undergoing Nine (9) months Internship training under the Prime Ministers Internship Scheme (PMIS).

Discipline : Pharmacy
Number of seats : 2
Stipend per month : ₹ 13,000/- [Including Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by Govt of India]
Duration of Training : The duration of internship will be for a period of Nine (9) months as per the Prime Minister Internship Scheme.
Qualification :
a. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
b. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
c. A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Selection Procedure
A. Short-listing of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trades. In case, same percentage of marks is secured by more than one candidate in prescribed qualification, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in age.
B. Shortlisted candidates shall be issued offer of Internship Training through the PMIS portal and will have to appear for verification of following certificates as per the date mentioned in the offer letter :- a. Original certificates towards proof of age, qualification, caste, disability (if any) etc. b. Self-attested copies of all certificates mentioned at ‘a’ above.
C. On successful completion of certificate verification to ascertain eligibility requirements, the candidates shall be provisionally inducted for internship training, subject to Medical fitness.
Travel Expenses : No travel expenses are admissible for attending certificate verification/during apprenticeship training period.
Boarding / Lodging : Boarding or lodging will not be provided by CSL during the Internship period.

General
(i) Applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements by checking the scheme details at https://pminternship.mca.gov.in.
(ii) CSL reserves the right to call for any additional documentary evidence from applicants in support of educational qualification / experience / other notified eligibility requirements as indicated in their online application, and information / replies to such queries should be only through the e-mail apprenticeship@cochinshipyard.in However, Cochin Shipyard shall not be responsible for any delay/non-receipt of such e-mails within the stipulated date and time. Replies to any such queries received after the stipulated date and time shall not be considered, and no further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
(iii) Any queries regarding the functionality of the PMIS portal, the candidates are advised to contact through pminternship.mca.gov.in > Support.
(iv) Original Certificates of the short-listed candidates shall be verified at the time of joining or at any other stage as decided by CSL. Candidature is purely provisional subject to verification of original certificates in proof of age, qualification, caste, disability, medical fitness etc and meeting the notified eligibility requirements. At the time of certificate verification/joining, if the candidates short-listed are found not meeting the eligibility requirements or fail to produce certificates in original or if at any stage, it is found that any information furnished by the candidate is false/incorrect or there has been suppression of facts and information, the candidate shall not be considered for selection and candidature/ appointment will be cancelled/rejected without further notice.
(v) Offer of Internship training shall not be sent to the short-listed candidates by post. They shall be informed through the PMIS portal. Candidates shall frequently check PMIS portal for updates for updates related to the selection.
(vi) Mere submission of application in the PMIS portal shall not confer any right to the applicant for acceptance of candidature or cannot be construed as an acknowledgement of fulfilling the eligibility criterion or does not constitute an offer of appointment, and will not entitle the applicant to any claim for employment in CSL.
(vii) CSL is not liable to other appointment during or after the completion of internship.
(viii) Selection of candidates will be subject to verification of character and antecedents and verification of caste certificates if applicable.
(ix) Upon completion of the Internship period, CSL shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Internship.
(x) The number of seats indicated in this notification is based on existing requirement and shall vary depending on the future requirements.
(xi) Notwithstanding the above or any other conditions, CSL reserves the right not to fill up the seats notified. Further, the filling up of the notified seats shall be subject to the suitability of candidates and availability of training facilities. CSL reserves the right to restrict/ alter/cancel/modify the recruitment process, if need so arises.
(xii) Those applicants having qualifications equivalent to any of the prescribed qualifications should submit Equivalency Certificate for undergoing Internship training in designated trade/discipline issued by the competent authority at the time of certificate verification/joining without such certificate, their candidature will not be considered.
(xiii) Candidate should ensure that marks are entered correctly. In the event of difference in the entered marks and marks in the certificate, the application will be summarily rejected.
(xiv) Submission of application shall be considered as unconditional acceptance of all terms and conditions of this notification/ PMIS details by the applicant.
(xv) Any legal proceedings in respect of any claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto and selection process thereafter can be instituted only in the Courts/Tribunals/Forums at Ernakulam and such Courts/ Authorities shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction.
(xvi) Any amendment, modification or addition to this advertisement shall be given in the CSL website only.
