  • Government International Fellowships for Young scientists (12 posts), Senior scientists (6 posts) - up to US$ 200 per day

    The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world. As early as in 1911, the Government of India set up the Indian Research Fund Association (IRFA) with the specific objective of sponsoring and coordinating medical research in the country. After independence, several important changes were made in the organisation and the activities of the IRFA. It was redesignated in 1949 as the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) with considerably expanded scope of functions.

    The Newton International Fellowships Scheme was established in 2008 to select the very best early stage  postdoctoral researchers from all over the world and enable them to work at UK research institutions for a period of two years. The Newton International Fellowships programme is available to eligible applicants from any country outside the UK.

  • ADINA Young Scientist Award 2016

    ADINA Group of Institutions (AGI) was established in 2005 under aegis of Shri. Prem Chand Jain Memorial Society for Education. At present, two institutes i.e. ADINA Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and ADINA Institute of Science and Technology are successfully running under the umbrella of AGI and some other institutions are also in pipe-line.

  • Require M.Pharm/M.Sc as Project Fellow for tuberculosis research

  • Nominations invited for CDRI AWARDS 2016 for Excellence in Drug Research

    CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow has instituted CDRI Awards in the year 2004 to recognize scientific excellence in the country in the area of Drug Research and Development. There are two separate individual awards each for the area of Chemical Sciences and Life Sciences. These awards are given annually to the Indian Nationals of below 45 years who have carried out outstanding research work in the area having direct bearing on Drug Research and Development.
