Inviting application from Colleges/Universities willing to admit students under the Special Scholarship Scheme from AICTE

Government of India under the Special Scholarship Scheme envisaged providing 5000 fresh scholarships every year to the students who are domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir and have passed class XII from schools located in the state and fulfilling all other eligibility criteria, for studying in duly approved Institutions located outside Jammu and Kashmir.

ICMR's Junior Research Fellowship - 120 fellowships for Life Sciences

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world. As early as in 1911, the Government of India set up the Indian Research Fund Association (IRFA) with the specific objective of sponsoring and coordinating medical research in the country. After independence, several important changes were made in the organisation and the activities of the IRFA. It was redesignated in 1949 as the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) with considerably expanded scope of functions.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE On “New Horizons in Pharmaceutical Education and Research” in Association of Pharmacy Professionals

Jamia and Ali Allana College of pharmacy functioning under the aegis of “Jamia Islamia Ishaat Ul Uloom Trust”. The College was founded in the year 2003 (D.Pharm) and 2006 (B.Pharm) with the object of imparting quality Pharmacy education in the tribal area, housed in a peacefull campus at Akkalkuwa overlooking the green hillock of satpuda. The setting up of a separate Department of Biotechnology (DBT), under the Ministry of Science and Technology in 1986 gave a new impetus to the development of the field of modern biology and biotechnology in India. In more than a decade of its existence, the department has promoted and accelerated the pace of development of biotechnology in the country. Through several R&D projects, demonstrations and creation of infrastructural facilities a clear visible impact of this field has been seen.

PhD - scholarship in acute inflammation models and cellular therapy at University of Copenhagen

The Department of Biology, University of Copenhagen offers a 2-year post doctoral position in population genetics of potato late blight (Phytophthora infestans). The position starts September 2013 or soon thereafter and is funded through a research grant ("BioMark") from the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

A 3-year PhD scholarship is available at the Department of Biomedical Sciences with starting date May 1st or as soon as possible thereafter.

1500 SCHOLARSHIPS (TRUST FUND) for Students with Disabilities for academic year 2013-14 in NHFDC

The National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) has been set up by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India on 24th January 1997. The company is registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 as a Company not for profit. It is wholly owned by Government of India and has an authorised share capital of Rs. 400 crores (Rupees Four Hundred Crore only).
