In this review we will concentrate on the various novel drug delivery systems (DDS) like transdermal DDS, micelles, liposomes, nanoparticles (NPs), dendrimers, drug eluting stents (DES) and drug eluting balloons (DEB) that are being used over the years and in present day for the treatment of these diseases.
