Applications are invited for the recruitment of 04 posts of Contract Pharmacist at Tuberculosis Hospital Group, Sewri, on purely contractual basis, based on the educational qualifications, experience and monthly fixed salary mentioned below.

Educational Qualification : Candidate must have a Diploma in Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education, Government recognized or a University Diploma or a Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University. (Preference will be given to those who are 21 years of age.)
Nature of work
1. Working under the guidance of senior officers of the TB hospital and the head of the drug manufacturing department.
2. Indenting drugs.
3. Maintaining optimal supply of drugs and ensuring updates in the software for drugs so that timely indenting of drugs is possible.
4. Disposing of expired drugs as per the guidelines.
5. Providing drug counseling to patients (how to consume and not to consume and information on side effects of drugs).
6. Maintaining data in the TAB software.
7. Maintaining reports, record books and submitting reports to the authorities.
8. Performing any other work assigned by the TB administration.
Salary : Rs. 20,000 per month
Important Notes
1. The candidate should have passed the Secondary and Higher School Certificate or equivalent examination of a recognized board and should have passed with 100 marks in Marathi and 100 marks in English. Also, it is necessary to be able to read and write Marathi, Hindi and English.
2. The candidate should be a holder of 'CCC' or 'O Level' or 'A Level' or 'B Level' or 'C Level' level certificate of 'DOE AC C' Society or 'MSCIT' or 'G.E.C.T' certificate of Maharashtra Board of Higher and Technical Education or the candidate should have completed the course of study approved by the Government from time to time in computer handling/use to be exempted from submitting the said certificate.
3. Must be able to handle the HMIS system implemented by the Brihanmumbai Metropolitan Municipality.
4. Experience in working in a Tuberculosis Hospital is preferred
5. The candidate must be able to communicate easily and hear clearly in Marathi, Hindi and English.
Age Limit : The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 38 years.
General Conditions
1. The candidate's mobile number, e-mail ID and correspondence address (including pin code) should be clear and complete. If it is not clear, the office will not be responsible if it cannot be contacted.
2. Apart from the lump sum, any kind of dearness allowance, house rent allowance, etc. given to contractual employees will not be admissible.
3. Female candidates should submit marriage registration certificate, gazette notification of change of name. Also, if they are not available, divorced female candidates can apply under their pre-marital name.
4. If the candidate has been convicted in any court of moral turpitude or criminal case, and if there is a police investigation / court case pending against the candidate / if the candidate has been convicted, the candidate must inform about it.
5. During the period of their contractual service, one day's service break will be given after every 179 days.
6. The candidate will be entitled to weekly leave as per the sessions in the department assigned to him/her as per circular No. Director/V.S.P.R./3644 dated As per 14.10.2023, a total of 7% days of casual leave will be admissible for 6 months, apart from that, no other leave will be admissible.
7. It is mandatory for the candidates to serve in emergency situations except for the period assigned by the hospital administration.
8. The contractual employees will have to follow the guidelines and procedures of the concerned department while performing their duties in the hospital and will have to take medico legal responsibility.
9. If their work is not found satisfactory during the contractual period, the Hon. Medical Superintendent, Tuberculosis Hospital Group, Sewri will have the right to terminate it without giving any prior notice.
10. Since the appointment of the candidate is on a contractual basis, he will not be able to approach any court.
11. At the time of appointment, an agreement on a bond of Rs. 500/- will be made from the candidate.
12. Candidates will have to do biometrics daily as per their duty hours, otherwise they will be considered absent, their absence without permission will be treated as absence without pay (LWP).
13. If it is found that the candidate has violated discipline during the appointment period of the said contractual post holder, his appointment will be cancelled immediately.
14. If the selected candidate wants to resign from the post for any reason, he will be required to give 1 month's prior notice.
15. The appointed candidate will not be entitled to any right for permanent service in the Manapa and he will not be allowed any benefits of regular service.
16. The candidate will have to appear for the interview at his own expense.
17. If at any time after the commencement of the selection process or after the appointment, it is found that the candidate has submitted incorrect information/certificates/documents or has concealed any information, his candidature will be cancelled. Also, if the appointment has been made, his appointment will be terminated without giving any prior notice.
18. The Hon'ble Medical Superintendent, Tuberculosis Hospital Group, Sewri has the right to stop the selection process at any time at any stage for administrative or other reasons.
Special Note
a) Applications submitted/received at the concerned office or other places other than the period from 02.09.2025 to 12.09.2025 will not be considered.
b) Applications will not be accepted without paying the prescribed application fee and attaching its receipt.
e) Please note that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has not given any right to sell, accept, etc. applications to any person or any other organization.
e) Applications received by post will not be considered.
Selection Criteria and Procedure
1. A merit list of candidates will be prepared based on the educational qualification prescribed for the post and the marks obtained in the interview. A selection list will be prepared from the candidates in the merit list.
2. Venue, date and time of interview: The applicant will be informed two days in advance on the email mentioned in the application.

4. Application fee: Rs. 790 + 18% GST. The said fee is non-refundable and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
