Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ANRF (SERB) funded research project with the following details.

Title of the Project : Biodegradable polylactic Acid-Microbial Dextran Based Superabsorbent as sustainable alternative for synthetic non-woven materia

Job description : To conduct research work assigned by the PI and assist in various phases of research project.

Minimum educational qualification : BS 4 years programme/BPharm/MBBS/Integrated BS- MS/MSc/BE/BTech/M.Tech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks in Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/ Polymer Science/ Chemical Sciences/ Material Science and Engineering or any other related area (Note: Degree should have been awarded).
Desirable : Experience in Biomaterial synthesis, Polymer reactions, and Microbial Fermentation

Salary : (i) Rs. 37,000 + HRA as applicable for scholars selected through GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET or any other National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
(ii) Rs. 31,000 + HRA as applicable for scholars who do not fall under (i)

Age limit : 28 Years
Age relaxation : The upper age limit is relaxable up-to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.

Tenure of employment : 1 year
Mode of Interview : Shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview
