Government College of Pharmacy, Amravati was started in 1996 by the Government of Maharashtra to remove the technical educational backlog of Vidarbha region. Initially it was started as one of the departments of Government College of Engineering Amravati.The Institute envisions the journey towards the development of technical excellence among the students to make them globally competent pharmacists.

Candidates are invited for walk-in interview to serve as Visitinc Faculty on Clock-Hour Basis for teaching undergraduate anc post- graduate courses in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M. Pharm Pharm. D) for academic session 2017-2018 only in various subjects of B.Pharm, M.Pharm.
Pharm.D (Pharmaceutics Pharm. Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pham Analysis, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacotherapeutics etc.) alone with other subjects as Environmental Sciences. Mathematics Computer Science.
The educational qualification needed is M.Pharm. If M.Pharm candidates area not available, ther candidates having M.B.B.S, Msc (Organic Chemistry Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Mathematics, Computei Science etc.) will also be considered.
