St. Joseph's College of Pharmacy is situated in Cherthala, the land of back waters amidst panoramic beauty in close proximity to Kumarakom, the renowned tourist spot and National Aquatic Bird Sanctuary. It is a unit of the Nirmala Province of the Medical Sisters of St. Joseph (MSJ Dharmagiri) Aluva, Kerala. The congregation of the Medical Sisters of St. Joseph is dedicated to the healing ministry and allied medical education, aiming to uplift the suffering humanity devoid of profit motive.

Department of pharmacology, St. Joseph’s college of pharmacy, Cherthala invites application from suitable candidates to work in an Early Career Research project entitled ‘Isolation of antidiabetic compounds from Alangiumsalvifolium, Flacourtiamontana, Baccaureacourtallensis and Ficusdalhousqae; and evaluating its effects on PPARγ and GLUT4 translocation by PI3K/p-Akt signaling pathway on insulin resistance using in vitro, in vivo and in silico type 2 diabetic models’ funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, India.
Age Limit : Below 28 years (Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule)
Tenure : Initially for 1 year, can be renewed for 2 more years based on performance.
Pay : INR 14,000 + HRA pm
Qualification : M. Pharm. 1st class in Pharmacology with GPAT score
Note
1.The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the tenure of the project.
2.Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview
3.Certificates in the support of qualification and experience should accompany the application form.
4.No T.A./D.A. will be paid to attend the interview.
5.Candidates appearing in their final semester exam may alsoapply provisionally
