The posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis initially for a period of six to twelve months under various task force studies under Division of Nutrition, ICMR and will be renewed with periodical evaluation and also depending upon the duration of the project.
PROJECT 1: Centre for promotion of Nutrition Research and Training with special focus on North-east, Tribal and Inaccessible population
Scientist-‘B’ (Non-medical; 1 in number (Nutrition)
Age limit: - Not exceeding 35 years
Consolidated pay - @Rs.48,000/- p.m. + HRA fixed
Qualifications – Candidates should possess 1st Class Master Degree in Food & Nutrition from a recognized University with 2 years experience in field of Food & Nutrition OR 2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Food & Nutrition from a recognized university.
Job Requirement: To assist and co-ordinate the activities of the centre like issues related to food safety, Nutrition etc. The incumbent may have to go to field for monitoring the field activities to any part of the country. Any work assigned by the Head (Nutrition)/Organization from time to time.

Age limit: - Not exceeding 35 years
Consolidated pay - @Rs.48,000/- p.m. + HRA fixed
Qualifications – Candidates should possess 1st Class Master Degree in Life Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biotechnology) from a recognized University with 2 years experience in relevant field OR 2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Life Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biotechnology) from a recognized university.
Job Requirement: To carry out and to co-ordinate the activities of the NABL accredited laboratory at the Centre and field work as per requirements. Any work assigned by the Head(Nutrition)/Organization from time to time.
Desirable: Experience of working in Clinical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry laboratory
PROJECT 2 : Improving health and nutritional status of vulnerable segment of population by implementing multi component health and nutrition education intervention as a sustainable model of intervention
Scientist-‘B’ (Non-medical; 1 in number (Nutrition)
Age limit: - Not exceeding 35 years

Terms & Conditions for the post are as follows:
1. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. 2. Benefits of provident fund, HRA,CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. are not applicable.
3. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview.
4. Qualification and experience should be from a recognized organization.

2. Scientist-‘B’ (Non-Medical; Nutrition): July 10, 2017 (Monday) at 10 AM at ICMR Campus-II, Tuberculosis Association of India Building, Ist Floor, 3 Red Cross Road,Near Parliament House, New Delhi-110001
The written test will be conducted only if the number of eligible candidates are more than 30. The test, if held will comprise of 20 objective type questions to be answered in 20 minutes time. Each correct answer will be given one (1) mark. No marks will be given for unanswered/ incorrect answer. There is no negative marking. The written test will be followed by Personal Discussion. Incase, the number of candidates who appear are less than 30, only Personal Discussion will be conducted.
Those appearing should bring in (1) original all certificates of your Educational Qualification, Experience certificate, one ID proof & one latest photograph; (2) one attested photocopy of all documents. SC/ST/OBC certificate may be brought in original, if applicable.
