Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal came into being on 6th November 2006  by upgrading erstwhile Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, Murthal through an Act 29 of 2006 of the Legislature of the state of Haryana with the vision to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers of science, engineering, technology, architecture and management studies, humanities, and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields. The University has been considered eligible for grants under Section 12(B) of UGC Act, 1956 in March, 2009. The University has got affiliating status and the technical and professional College/Institutes located in the District Sonepat have been affiliated to the University. Six B.Tech programmes of the University have also been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). University has a Central Instrumentation Laboratory which is available to scholars belong to different deptts or outside institute as central research facility.

Pay Band : Rs. 15600 - 39100+AGP  6000/ -

Qualifications / experience
Essential:
(i) First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech); OR
(ii) A Ph.D. Degree in Applied Biological Sciences such as, Micro-Biology, Bio-Chemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy and Bio-Physics; OR (iii) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade and at the Master’s Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University.
(iv) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. (v) Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered
desirable:
1. Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization;
2. Papers presented at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.

 

Note:
1. NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors. Provided however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Produce for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
2. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
3. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Differently Abled (physically and visually differently abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the category mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Candidates are requested to download the application form from the University website (www.dcrustm.ac.in). The downloaded form must accompany with the requisite application fee in shape of Demand Draft (Rs. 200/-, Rs. 50 for SC/BC/ST, Rs. 25/- for SC/BC/ST female candidate, Rs. 100/- for other female candidates) in favour of Registrar, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal (Sonepat) payable at State Bank of India, DCRUST, Murthal. Ex-Servicemen of Haryana only are exempted from the application fee. If the candidate applies for more than one post, he/she is required to deposit the fee separately for each post and apply separate application form. Application fee once deposited with the application form will neither be transferable nor refundable/adjustable in any case.
2. The application form duly filled in along with all documents in support of educational qualifications and experience should reach the office of Deputy Registrar (Faculty) of this University latest by 09.03.2017 at 5:00 p.m. Incomplete applications or those received after the last date for any reasons including postal delay will not be entertained and shall be summarily rejected. The candidate must be eligible on the date of publication of the advertisement as per the prescribed qualifications.
3. Reservation of posts will be for Haryana Residents only and as per the reservation policy of State Government. ESM candidates should also produce attested photo copy of identity card issued by concerned Zila Sainik Board and Discharge Book at the time of interview.
4. The short listing of the candidates shall be done on basis of the academic record and research performance of the candidate as per criteria for the post. In case of large number of applications for any post, a written test may be held for short listing the candidates. The written test will be only a qualifying test and the candidates to be called for interview will be on the basis of academic records & research performance out of qualified candidates. The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or it may not fill any of the posts advertised without assigning any reason.
5. Those in service should send their application through proper channel or submit NOC from the current employer at the time of interview otherwise they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
6. The Candidates who have applied previously for teaching posts against Advt. No. 34/2012 (except where advertised posts of Assistant Professors have been filled i.e. Architecture, Bio-Medical, Civil Engg. and English), Advt. No. 12/2013, Advt. No. 01/2014, Advt. No. 15/2014 and Advt. No. 16/2014 published in various leading newspapers may apply for refund of application fee online in the prescribed form available on the University website, as the above-mentioned advertisements have been withdrawn by the University. Last date for applying for refund of fee will be 09.03.2017.
7. As the criteria has been changed by UGC, the candidates who have applied earlier against Advt. No. 34/2012 (except where advertised posts of Assistant Professors have been filled i.e. Architecture, Bio-Medical, Civil Engg. and English), Advt. No. 12/2013, Advt. No. 01/2014, Advt. No. 15/2014 and Advt. No. 16/2014 need to apply afresh without fee.
8. The candidates are advised to carefully read all the details before applying for any post.
9. The candidates are also advised to visit University website regularly for any update.

Action against candidates found guilty of misconduct: Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered/fabricated or should not suppress any material information while filling up the application form.
