Gujarat Ayurved University was established in 1967 by an act passed by Gujarat State legislative Assembly in 1965. It is the first statutory University of its Kind both at national and international level - exclusively devoted to Ayurvedic studies and Research. This University is administratively linked to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare both at State and Centre-indicating its special status.

- All the appointments are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Candidates with Knowledge of Sanskrit, English, and Good knowledge of computer operation (MS Office) or having research experience will be given preference.
- The duration of appointment will be as per requirement of the particular project.
- No TA / DA would be admissible for attending the interview and Candidates should bring all relevant documents of qualification and experience at the time of interview.
