Project Associate (Junior Research Fellow) in MHRD-IMPRINT funded Project
Post : JRF
Title of Research Project: Sustainable Waste Water treatment through bio-photoelectro catalysis and biofuel production.
Job profile: The JRF will perform R&D in the areas of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, metabolite profiling and Bioprocessing using Bioreactors.
Minimum Qualification: M.Sc./B. Tech or equivalent degree with 60% marks in Life Sciences/ Computational Biology/ Biotechnology or relevant subject area.
Selection criteria:
Essential: Excellent communication skills, Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, Willingness to learn new techniques. Desirable: Knowledge and experience in both the computational biology and experimental biology, and those who have qualified GATE/NET/or other equivalent national level exam or having post graduate degree in engineering will be preferred.
Fellowship: 20,000-25000/-depending on qualification and experience as per MHRD guidelines (Funding is available for three years).
Duration: Initially for 1 year(Will be extended to two or more years subjected to the performance). The selected candidate will need to join the project immediately. Note: JRF may get PhD admission if he/she fulfills the admission criteria of IIT Mandi.
