A Research Assistant position is immediately available in the Laboratory for Stem Cell & Restorative Neurology at Department of Biotechnology, Era’s Lucknow Medical College & Hospital (ELMC&H), Lucknow-03.

The position presents a unique and exciting opportunity for the candidate interested in using molecular, cellular, and animal model to study stem cell survival. Employing mouse and human stem cells this project will investigate the mechanism of NLRP3 inflammasome regulation in cell culture and mouse stroke model in an ongoing project between Dr. Syed Shadab Raza’s group at ELMC&H and Dr. Avril Robertson’s group at The University of Queensland, Australia. Together in close collaboration both the group are trying to develop novel therapies for neurodegenerative diseases.
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Life Science/ Neuroscience / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology or in related subjects with atleast 60% marks. CSIR/UGC/ ICMR-JRF/NET/INSPIRE/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.
The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance. The present position may lead to the Ph.D. of the successful candidate, subject to the merit and performance.
