The overall course curriculum provides an inter-disciplinary perspective of modern biotechnology with high emphasis on laboratory training. On completion of the coursework, the student is required to work on his / her Master s dissertation followed by PhD thesis.

MSc./ M.Tech. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Bioinformatics/ Genomics/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy. Regional Centre for Biotechnology

M.Sc. or any other equivalent course in Biotechnology with at least 60% marks. NET or any national-level JRF eligibility test qualified.

PhD in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Agriculture / Physiology / Agronomy or any other related subject.

Post-graduate (Masters degree in Life Sciences / Chemistry) with minimum 60 % marks or PhD in Life Sciences / Chemistry.

Post-graduate degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.

Ph.D. in Biotechnology or Life Sciences. strong expertise in molecular cloning, mutagenesis, protein expression and purification, protein characterization, isotopic labeling, and structural analysis. Regional Centre for Biotechnology

A PhD in Life Science / allied discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research. Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Masters Degree in Biotechnology/ Agricultural Sciences/ Natural Sciences or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology from a recognized University or equivalent
