Mandate of the Centre is to provide a platform for biotechnology education, training and research at the interface of multiple disciplines. The programmes of the Centre are designed to create opportunities for students to engage in multi-disciplinary research where they learn biotech science while integrating engineering, medicine and science, to provide solutions for human and animal health, agriculture and environmental technologies.
Post : Research Associate - I
Title of the Project : “Role of myosin heavy chain-slow in skeletal muscle development and disease”, funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT).
Duration : Initially for one year, extendable until the end of the project.
Essential Qualifications : PhD or equivalent degree in Life Sciences with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Experience working with laboratory rodent models, molecular biology and biochemistry research techniques is required.
Desirable qualifications : First author publications, experience in research related to metabolism, and good written and oral presentation skills.

Fellowship : Rs. 58,000/- + 27% HRA per month
