Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance established through an Act of Indian Parliament by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology.

Title of Project : Investigating non-host resistance mechanisms in mungbean for broad- spectrum immunity to fungal diseases.
Principal Investigator : Dr. Divya Chandran, Professor, RCB, Faridabad
Duration : Initially for a period of up to one year, extendable till the duration of the project, subject to extension of the project and upon annual evaluation
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks in qualifying exams and NET or any National-Level JRF eligibility test qualification. Practical knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction and gene expression analysis, is essential. A strong motivation and commitment towards research are required.
Desirable : Demonstrated experience in cloning, transient expression in plant systems, protein isolation, and Western Blotting is preferred.
Age : Below 35 years
Principal Investigator : Dr. Ambadas B. Rode, Associate Professor
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000/- + HRA% (as applicable) per month

3) Documentary evidence supporting qualification of National Level Exam.

5) Certificate of experience (if applicable).
