GATE

M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Food Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetic Science/ Engg, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences and Environmental technology with qualification in GATE/NET or National level equivalent examination. 

Four-Year Bachelors Degree/ Masters Degree in Microbiology/ Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Botany/Environmental Sciences/ or other relevant fields in Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.

M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Biochemistry or relevant life sciences discipline) with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates who have qualified CSIR NET-JRF/CSIR NET-LS/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE. 

The candidate should have a first-class post-graduate degree in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Molecular & Human Genetics /Zoology / Animal Science / Life Sciences with qualified CSIR-UGC NET/GATE.

M.Sc. in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemistry/allied subjects with minimum 55% marks. Candidates with UGC-NET/GATE/PU PhD (Biophysics)/ other national entrance test conducted by Government of India will be preferred.

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate in Degree in Professional Course selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR –UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. 

Post graduate degree in any branch of life sciences /biotechnology or Graduate/Post Graduate in any branch of life sciences or biotechnology or Post Graduate in any branch of life sciences /biotechnology selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

A minimum of 60% marks (or CPI of 6.00) at Masters level AND Candidates should have valid GATE/GPAT/CSIR or UGC-NET/JEST/JGEEBILS (TIFR/NCBS)/ICMR-JRF/ICAR-NET/ DBT-JRF/ Project - Funded (as per INST rules)/ DST-INSPIRE will be adhoc basis subject to successful activation of inspire fellowship.
